Suggestion for Purchase
Do you wish we had a specific book or other item in our collection? Please share your recommendations!
Suggested titles will be reviewed for the collection based upon our collection development policy [PDF]. We will notify you about our choice to purchase your suggestion or not. Please note the following guidelines prior to submitting your request:
- The library reviews publications from most publishers three months prior to the publication date. Suggestions beyond this timeline will not be considered.
- Johnson County Library purchases bestselling titles and authors in all formats as they come available. Please check the catalog 2-3 months prior to publication to place your hold.
- We are generally unable to purchase titles published outside the United States.
- We purchase in the following formats as available: print, large print, CD audiobook, CD, DVD, Xbox, Playstation3 and Wii.
